Personal Profile
As a Teach for America St. Louis corps member I sought to give back to the community. I taught advanced mathematics courses to high school students in St. Louis City. Developing and sustaining personal connections with my students was rewarding. My problem-solving and critical-thinking skills allowed me to think on my feet and promote student engagement in the course material. Through utilizing my expertise in mathematics and computer science I hope to facilitate change and innovation throughout the region.

"We are like dwarfs sitting on the shoulders of giants. We see more, and things that are more distant, than they did, not because our sight is superior or because we are taller than they, but because they raise us up, and by their great stature add to ours."
John of Salisbury
